Polk-Burnett offers long distance telephone service through PowerNet Global Communications. This long distance service is one of the lowest-cost long distance services available. You can call anywhere in Wisconsin for 5.9 cents per minute and only 4.9 cents per minute anywhere else in the continental United States.

In addition, for $1 per month, you can have your own personal toll-free number to receive calls from family members or acquaintances. Incoming calls on your toll-free number are billed to you at the same rates noted above. All rates are the same 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a low 99¢ monthly fee, with no monthly minimums, or long-term agreements.
